Poetry #1

1.) The author of the poem is Charlws Bukowski
2.) The poem was a meant to raise people's awareness on how bright life can and will be in the end, even though you have nothing or you are extremely poor, it wasnt really mean to advertise a brand of pants. It feels like the commercial wanted to reach out to the teenagers with these "wonderful" pants commercial.
3.) Charles Bukowski wrote the poem for the classes below the middle and upper class, it was never meant to make someone feel good about how good they look in the pants by saying "your life is your life". It was men who were poor and basically had nothing but problems. So no it didnt reflect on his reputation.
4.) During my little youtube session with the video I looked at the comment's searching for a helpful comment, luckily after my third scroll down I found "the laughing heart" by Charles bukowski and I found the answer fpr question one. Then I looked up the the key words "Charles Bukowski the laughing heart" and found " http://bukowskiforum.com/threads/the-laughing-heart.1684/"  and found question 3 and actually some other interesting translations to the poem.
